direct 3d devices

Hi everyone, I am revitalising my old pc for a friend and I have XP Professional SP 3 Version 2002 - which I have reformatted and now have most programs back in and everything is working except I need direct 3D devices for XP (or so it tells me!) - How do I get this - where from and hwo do I install it etc? I have been online but it hasn't been much help.

Help from here would be appreciated. Zante

PS. I have windows media player 11 installed if that is anything to do with it! Done all the updates etc.

Goto your Control panel>Devise manager

Update your video drivers

Plus is there any yellow warning marks visible

Sorry to take so long to get back Fletch - I have done as you advise and problem fixed - Have also fixed other yellow question marks and learnt a lot as I went. Thank you again and I have had a beer to you! Zante.
