Whoopee..!! I am now windowless in the DIALUP CONNECTION area.

I took your advice, combined all the suggestions plus I also deleted the old pop.tiscali account in the INTERNET ACCOUNTS window and it worked. Mind you, I did take the precaution of putting a 'checkpoint' in before taking action.

So, thanks to you, Mike, Old Fogey and Anne, I am a happy mailer. I really appreciate the advice on the site, yet again, it has proved to be a winner
