I noticed on my c drive the old windows files after putting in my new windows 7.
Only because I seen how full it was.
Now I installed after running the RC for a while.
Now I assumed that the new disc would overwrite(reformat)all my files.
I have a partioned drive anyway so I wouldn't lose them.
On closer inspection it appears not.
All the files I had on c drive before instaling are still there.
I don't remember seeing a format option when I installed.
There must be one??

It was my understanding that the final release version of Windows 7 couldn't be (shouldn't be) installed with the RC version still in place.

The Release Candidate version should be removed and the final release version "clean installed" in the drive.

Hows that done then?
They must have been an option I missed somewhere.
Anyway that's what I did.
Everything running fine.
Anyway I've deleted all the old files.
I had to go into safe mode to get rid of one stubborn one.
Strange thing I had to go into msconfig to boot into safe mode,F8 didn't give me the option.

The one little thing,I had was in device manager it was telling me that the drivers for the coprocessor
weren't installed.Windows couldn't find them.Anyway I put my motherboard disc in and told windows to search there and bingo.I had the same thing in the RC but thought I'd wait for the release before looking to fix it.
I'm not sure what is a coprocessor or what is does.Whatever,no errors showing now.
I think it's something to do with graphics and gaming myself which I don't use.
