 Can I install Windows7?

Fellas, believe me I've tried slow slow, quick quick slow, but no d...n F8, honestly, if only it would , I have done so many times in the past. The other thing I tried was to enter the BIOS and attempt to restore to default settings, but when I click enter to confirm the setting my lappie simply hangs with no response, it's' beginning to appear that W7 is my only option, hope the postie strike doesn't last too long.

Just to let you all know I installed Windows 7 on my lappie, so one happy bunny, thank you all for your help and advise, it was very much appreciated.

I likes number 33.
I now have Angelina Jolie on start up and close down.
