Some may find it handy to have a small address bar on their taskbar (next to the notification area) to very quickly navigate around the pc or load internet web pages.

Right click either the start button or taskbar,
choose Properties
choose Toolbars tab,
put a checkmark in the box for "Address"
Apply/ok the changes made.
