I have been sent a powerpoint show with music but no timing set to advance the slides, they advance on a mouse click, the problem I have is when I set a time for the slides to advance automaticaly, for example every six seconds it restarts the music track every time a slide changes, I don't know how to change it as the music icon is hidden, it works ok if I advanse the first slide on a click, then run the rest of the show automaticly, could someone please help

Sorry Peter if it's not the right reply.
And because I don't use PP (not for a long time at least)
But it could well be the way the presentation was actually created.

Maybe they re-changed the setting after setting the first slide.
