Hi Zante,
Like the others have said there have been some genuine threats in the past from
e-cards and "
postcards" in emails and ever since the same warnings seem to be circulated every christmas ..... however, you do right to be on your guard where emails are concerned anyway,
but do check the email out before sending them on to friends as this can be a form of
spam when you are told "
forward this to all on your contact list now"When you get emails with
"warnings" or a
story which is often quite
remarkable (or unbelievable lol) then a lot of us use a website which will give you the run down on the email going around .... whether or not its
true or
false, its
origan etc ....
you just
copy and paste part of the text from the email or copy the
subject title (try different search terms if at first you don't get a result) and see what the site has to say about it.
You might like to try them out next time you get such mail;
