Embarassed Can't work out how to only include some of your post as a quote Embarassed

Well the version 4 arrived as promised (can't fault their delivery service). It's set up and running. Only time will tell if it stays "UP".

As you know, I've been here before, so will not get unduly excited for a day or 2 Wink

But I'm hopeful and yes... -> cross fingers

Dave Very Happy

Hi Dave,

if you only want part of the quote you still need to use the quote button as normal but when the reply box opens with all of the text, just simply highlight the bits you don't require (by clicking and dragging the mouse over the text until it gets highlighted ... usually in blue) and delete it.
You have to be careful not to touch the bits at the beginning and end which are:

square bracket quote="Liverbird"square bracket ....at the front

square bracket/quotesquare bracket ...at the end

Just don't delete those bits .... if a quote messes up its likely due to those parts being disturbed (I have typed the words square bracket for these [ ] or it would have just quoted my text as though it was a real quote code) Wink

I think I get it! It can get quite complicated if the post has more than one quote (as above) If I got this right, I deleted your quote of mine!!!!! lol!
