Firefox check spelling while I type error

Since upgrading to 3.0.6 wel I think it's since this.
This feature just keeps re ticking it's self.
I keep un ticking it and next time I restart the fox back it comes ticked.
I Haven't tried a complete reinstall of the fox just yet.I was hoping to avoid it if possible.
I run spell bound as my spell checker and have never had a problem before.
I'm on XP.
Any ideas

I'm not sure about "spell bound" - I seem to recall using it with a much earlier version of Firefox and there doubts about its compatibility with some subsequent Firefox updates. I now have the "British English Dictionary" installed as an Add-on and this checks spelling as I type. In "Tools > Add-ons", I can disable any of the installed Add-ons if necessary.

Sorry, but which feature.
Is it a feature that wants to get updated?
Will it update?

I still/also use spell bound with a English dictionary and don't have any problems.

However, I'm still using Firefox v3.0.4.
I do not have auto update set and certainly do not update FF just because there is a later update available.

What I'm talking about is in options,advanced under browsing.
I've disabled spell bound and it still re ticks it's self when restarting the fox.
It's something I might have to put up with.
I don't like the firefox spell check that's why I use spell bound.
When I get I chance I'll reinstall the fox and see if that works.

Strange as I do not have a setting in Advanced called Browsing, but then I have also never updated FF, which that setting may come well be in a further update.

However, also saying that, since reinstalling FF and not updating it, I have also not received any of the messages saying that FF has had a problem and needs to close/re-start "after I have already closed it".
