netbook recommendations

What do you think about netbooks? because I'm going to buy one but I don't know if it's the best decision I take, I don't know much about them that's why I want some recommendations, I found a site where they are giving aways a free Samsung NC10 and you only need to register, that sound good; but well I read about the NC10 it seems to be a strong netbook but I want recommendations and another options, I want to know all the good and the bad of netbooks before I buy one. That's not what they are saying. The first 5000 people who register will "Play Absolutely Free" with the potential to win a Samsung NC10.

I think you need to consider what your needs are and what you will do with a computer. Netbooks are very portable and ideal for a bit of web browsing and emailing, but they do have a very small screen and a low powered processor. They don't have a built-in CD/DVD drive so you need to consider how you're going to install software in it - if you have a desktop PC, they could be networked to get the installation files into the Netbook.
