Before downloads of music from Itunes, 7digital and Soundclick were rapid transfers, now the download starts quickly (250Kbs) and then plummets to (28-35Kbs) for no reason at all making a download of, e.g. 3.50Mb about 3 minutes!

Is this connected with the installation or perhaps something else?

I am experiencing problems with my Internet access.

I connect to the Internet using a Linksys WAG200G Router/Modem, which I have had for 1 to 2 years as a free replacement for my WAG54G which failed.

I connect to Virgin Media, with whom I have been for about 7 years, with PAYG dialup, 24/7 dialup, and now Broadband.

I have to say, I have been very satisfied with Virgin over all these years.

The Problem now is that 2 o0r 3 days ago I had all green lights on my Router, ...

I've started using T'bird recently but I'm struggling a bit with configuring it so I've kept WMail on the go as a sort of back up. I've noticed with WM a distinct lack of spam in the last few days but when I open T'bird the spam is still there and d/l's as usual. Naturally I'm happy not to get spammed but can't figure out why I'm not getting it with WM as ...

Sending newsletters

ITMA Albyefield is still around!

Our branch is having problems distributing newsletters by e-mail and I wonder if anyone out there can help.

Our member list is in the order of 400 and when a bulk e-mail with the newsletter as an attachment is sent we find that certain recipients reject it "too many recipients" this stops the e-mail in it's tracks. Does anyone know of a macro for sending an e-mail to a list using a link for the newsletter to save bandwidth?

I'm having aggro with my BT internet dropping out. A B T engineer says the exchange line is o.k. and their internet people says nothing wrong with their server. I've swapped out everything possible, ripped out my house wiring, and run a new DECT phone system and routers x 3, speedtouch 330 modems [ all in turn], from the master jack, and the internet still drops out at irregular intervals. I would like to be able to plug in a bit of gubbins straight into the filter on the master socket to monitor ...
