I run XP Pro with "Diskeeper" on it and lately I'm getting a report that an error has been detected with an MMC "Snap-in" with the suggestion that I shut down MMC and restart - went to the Microsoft web site but had a problem following it and still do not know how to shut it down or fix the problem - any ideas? - DJ

What is the Virtual Studio Just in Time Debugger I have had this coming up quite a lot. A window comes up asking if I want to use the default debugger. I usually click the no box as I once clicked yes and it displayed an error message about an exception occuring. I don't know what this is and don't recall installing it, nor do I know how to use it

in my add and remove programs list i have two listings for flash
1..Adobe flash player 10 activex version 10.0.32.18
2..Adobe flash player 10 plugin version 10.0.22.87

on computer start up i am being prompted to update flash although the activex one is current can anybody explain the difference between the two please and if the plugin will relate to firefox although there is not an entry in the plugin list within firefox

Hi,hope you can help,

I recently reinstalled wnixp home on a pc with no speakers conected. Later when I reconnected them I had no sound at all. I checked to see if they weren't simply muted and saw that there's no device installed. There's no soung card it's integrated on the motherboard. Do I need to dl the sound driver from the mb makers site? If so can I find it without having to open the pc? Or can I dl a generic 1?

computer keeps restarting

hey guys I'm having a problem with my computer constantly restarting.
I had to uninstall Internet explorer 8 yesterday because it wasn't compatible with my new printer software. I had no problem this morning when I booted up but, then windows updated and when I restarted the computer it wouldn't stop restarting. It gets to the windows logo with the progress bar and then it goes start back to restarting again. I can't even get to my log on screen. Can someone please help me? TY

can't download, update, or system restore

Windows won't let me download anything, update, or use system restore. When I go to download I get the message C:\docume~1\my name\locals~1\temp\ whatever.exe.part could not be saved because the source file could not be read. To system restore it goes through the motions then at restart it says it could not resotre to whaever date I use. I just got rid of sonic update manager and still no change. I've run every scan I could think of.

Now when I open the file it just shows music files.But while it was up loading I seen some image files up loading as well.They were album art.Anyway I downloaded this album art and it is album art from the music files.I can't see this art in the original folder.
