My son-in-law had Vista in a computer and couldn't get MYOB to work with it.

He then installed XP because he was told that the program would work with that. It didn't!

He then put Vista back in and got the program to work -

Problem: Now every now and then a window pops up asking for the product key. It will click off without actually putting key in but it is a nuisance. Anybody have any ideas to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance, Zante.

I have a Kodak camera (nothing special just a point and snap) which, when I put the card in PC did not recognise that a card was there although it had previously.
Hi,

A load of Updates are "available" for my Vista PC. (Most are for Office, but IE8 is there as a recomended update).

Is it OK to download and run this yet? I have heard that some problems are being encountered by people.

I use both IE & Firefox (Some things don't "Like" firefox, and some don't "like" Internet explorer.

Any thoughts please?

Unfortunately some people may not realise that the power button on the bottom of the Start Menu does not actually turn the computer OFF.

The default setting for this button is just to put the computer into sleep mode (standby)

So unless you actually use the small arrow to the right and select "Shut Down" the computer remains in sleep mode when this button is used.

However it only takes a couple of ...
